Argentine star Lionel Messi posted a video on his Twitter account on Friday. Instagram in which he apologizes to the French Paris Saint-Germain and the fondness for his trip to Saudi Arabia, which has sparked strong protests in the last hours.

In a Twitter post accompanied by undated images showing Messi relaxing with his family, Ahmed Al Khateeb, the Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia wrote on Monday: "I am happy to welcome #Messi and his family to Saudi Arabia. Authentic destinations and experiences."
He added: "We welcome visitors from all over the world to experience a unique trip to Saudi Arabia and its hospitality."

With Lionel Messi serving a two-week ban imposed by his own club, Paris Saint-Germain, speculation about his future begins to increase as the Argentine's contract with PSG expires in June this year.
