Tropical Storm in the Caribbean Could Become the Next Major Hurricane to Hit Florida

Forecasters are studying a tropical system, currently dubbed "Invest 98L," that could become a major storm in the Caribbean region or gulf coast as soon as next week.
The storm has a high probability of becoming a cyclone in the next five days as it moves through the southern Caribbean, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC). If he does, he'll probably be called Hermine or Ian, according to the official list of hurricane names.
