Two dead and 10 injured are recorded so far by a magnitude 7.7 earthquake in Mexico
R. Gelfenstein - The great earthquake occurred one hour after the national drill that takes place every September 19 to commemorate the earthquakes of 1985 and 2017, which occurred on the same date and is considered the most destructive in history.
The death toll from the magnitude 7.7 quake that struck Mexico on Monday rose by two and the injured went to 10, Laura Velazquez, the National Civil Protection Coordinator, said Tuesday.
On two previous occasions Mexico trembled on September 19, today a drill was planned and an hour later for the third time, a #terremoto of 7.4 shakes Mexico. The first time was in 1985, the second in 2017. Drills save lives.
