R. Gelfenstein - The audience did not expect to encounter a humanoid robot of more than one and a half meters crossing the stage.

After seeing how he gave a flower to the CEO of Xiaomi and also took a selfie with him, the company revealed to us that CyberOne, as the creature was called, is the second robot to come out of Xiaomi Robotics Lab, the robotics department. of Xiaomi, which gave birth to its robot dog CyberDog just a year ago.

CyberOne is 177 cm tall, weighs 52 kilograms and is capable of moving at 3.6 kilometers per hour. Its peculiar face is a giant curved OLED panel, but what happens behind that panel is the most interesting.

This humanoid robot is equipped with spatial vision sensors, which allow it to observe the world in three dimensions, and can also hear what is happening around it thanks to its two microphones, which allow it to identify 85 types of environmental sounds and classify up to 45 human emotions.

On the other hand, Elon Musk surprisingly announced a year ago that his company was working on a humanoid robot whose prototype we would see in 2022, but for now we have no news of him.

The CEO of Xiaomi explained that the price of CyberOne would be between 600,000 and 700,000 yuan (about 86,000 and 100,390 euros at the change), but confirmed that it is still an experimental model and that at the moment there are no plans to market it.
