Two Ukrainian fighter planes attack Russian troops on Snake Island VIDEO
R. Gelfenstein, Ukrainian drones carried out an attack on Russian forces on the now-occupied Snake Island in the Black Sea, according to new footage.
In the footage, drones can be seen targeting a Russian helicopter that has dropped enemy troops on the island; This video is just the latest in a series of attacks by Ukrainian forces on the island.

The Ukrainian military also released aerial footage of an attack on a Russian Serna-class ship and facilities on the island that has been occupied since late February.
Snake Island became a symbol of resistance after an audio clip of defending troops yelling profanity at a Russian ship was shared online.
The soldiers were then captured, but later released in a prisoner exchange; a Russian warship was also attacked in the Black Sea, which was later scuttled after sustaining heavy damage.
